The Exceptional Children/Special Education Department provides support and services for all eligibility areas including:

Common Special Education Terms and Acronyms

The disability community is full of acronyms and terms that people constantly use in writing and in conversation, and it’s important to know what those acronyms stand for and what those terms mean. Acronyms are used in order to abbreviate names or phrases.
